Vaundy 's new song "Homunculus" has been chosen as the theme song for the movie "My Hero Academia THE MOVIE YOUR NEXT," which will be released on Friday, August 2, 2024!

The digital release of "Homunculus" has also been scheduled for Friday, July 5th!
The jacket visual was created by Yuki Hayashi, the character designer and main animation director for "My Hero Academia: The MOVIE: Your Next," and features a powerful line drawing of Deku.

《Vaundy Comment
Every time I read "My Hero Academia", every time I watch it, it always makes me think about what my "personality" is, what I have, or nothing.
Each time, I always felt that "individuality" is something that is inherited from my predecessors, and I was encouraged by the strong sympathy for Deku and his friends, and the appearance of the main character fighting fiercely.
I remember that when I made this song, I was struggling with what my "individuality" was.
I think I was able to think about how I could send encouragement to Hiroaka's characters, and I was able to put my own answer.
Once again, I am very honored to be able to be involved in my favorite work in this way, and I think it has become a product that will be the table of contents of my musical life.
