It has been decided that the song will be the new opening theme for TV Asahi's two weekend night news programs, "Saturday Station" and "Sunday Station."

The April 8th (Sat) broadcast of "Saturday Station" will kick off with "Bidenkyu," a song written by Vaundy specifically for both shows.

This song sublimates the producers' thoughts on the news, "Knowing the present can also serve as a guidepost to a bright future," into the tasteful lyrics, "That missing future / Filling in the nightlight / 'Majitarina' / Lighting up Bidenkyu dimly." It is a stylish rock number that combines a floating feeling with strength, perfect for the special time of a weekend night.

This film captures the beginning of a story in which the protagonist is not satisfied with the present, but instead carves out and seizes a better future with his own efforts.

Now that society is entering a new phase after the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe that news programs should also break new ground, and so we have asked for a new theme song.
We wanted to reach out to not only those who habitually watch news programs, but also those who have never watched them before, so we asked Vaundy, which is popular mainly among the younger generation, to handle the project.
Learning the news can sometimes be enjoyable and sometimes painful. However, knowing the present can also be a guidepost to a brighter future. We entrusted Vaundy with our desire to create a program that can help people achieve this.
