Ado's new song "Ibara," written by Vaundy, has been chosen as the new theme song for Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV," which will celebrate its 30th anniversary this April!

The new theme song is scheduled to begin airing on Monday, April 3rd.

I wrote this song "Ibara" hoping that it would be a song that would give you a push at the start of your day, a trigger to turn on the switch every morning, and also to cheer on Ado-chan. When I was finishing the song and Ado-chan's voice, which combines strength, kindness, and sadness, was added, I felt that it had been pricked with the perfect "thorn" that only she can produce, and that "Ibara" was complete. I would be happy if it becomes a source of energy for you to get through your daily lives.

(When I received the offer) I was so happy, thinking, "So this is what happens in life!" "Ibara" is rock, but not an intense rock style; it's a very passionate song that will encourage many people. When I first heard it, I was surprised that Vaundy could make a sound like this, and it felt fresh to me as it was a song I had never sung before. For those who are chasing their dreams, those who are working hard, and those who have no choice but to move forward headlong... your thoughts and feelings contain incredibly powerful power, and it is much greater than you can imagine. I sang this song with the thought that if you live by believing in yourself, the day when you will see the morning coming will be near. There are difficult times in life, and I myself have so many mornings where I feel the same way, so I hope that "Ibara" can give you all a little bit of energy, and that together we can get through all kinds of mornings.
