VAUNDY

Vaundy has been chosen to provide the campaign song for "STOP! Piracy: Thank you for your love of manga."

An original video featuring memorable scenes from 61 popular manga works, along with "Thank You" composed by Vaundy, has been released on the campaign's special website, ABJ's official Twitter, and YouTube.
This video is meant to impress upon everyone that reading the work on the official app/website/magazine, rather than on a pirated copy, is extremely important for the work, and encourages them to continue doing so in the future.

The video direction is handled by director Kodama Yuichi, who also directed Vaundy 's music videos "Shiwaawase" and "HERO."

■ Vaundy comment
I was invited by Director Kodama himself, who I love and who has worked with me on my own music video, to take part in this project.

It was a unique task that required me to create lyrics using lines from a manga, which was quite a challenge, but the staff had kindly provided me with a huge number of phrase candidates, and I was able to capture the passion of the work and put it into the song.

It's an exciting video that features many scenes from my favorite manga, so please enjoy it from start to finish.

I hope that we can all continue to protect Japan's proud manga culture.
